Static ads wear out fast.

Shooting new video is slow and expensive. Animating what you already have isn’t.

An ad that worked last month can stall in a few weeks. Static creative wears out in weeks, not months, and the usual fixes don’t fit a lean brand. A video shoot costs thousands and takes weeks. UGC creators are hit-and-miss. Your designer is already stretched making statics.

Motion design sits in between. It uses the product photos, packaging renders and brand system you already own, and turns them into short, native-feeling video that’s quick to iterate. Ten new angles cost less than one shoot.

Why motion, not a shoot

  1. 01

    No shoot.

Built from your existing assets: product shots, renders, logo and brand fonts.

  2. 02

    Fast iteration.

New hooks, offers and claims without re-filming anything.

  3. 03

    Native format.

    9:16, sound-optional, captioned and safe-zone aware.

No shoot. Fast iteration. Native 9:16. Sound-off ready.

  1. 010:00 – 0:04

    Hook

    “Tight? Red? Reactive?”

Names the feeling in the first second, and reads with the sound off.

  2. 020:04 – 0:08

    Reframe

“It’s not your skin. It’s your barrier.”

Gives the problem a new cause, so the product has a job before it appears.

  3. 030:08 – 0:14

    Product

    “Meet your hero product.”

The product arrives as the answer, with proof points landing before doubt does.

  4. 040:14 – 0:17

    Call to action

    “Your barrier, supported.”

One line, one action: shop your hero product.

Re
Who actually makes your ads

Hi, I'm Akim. I started Akimotion because I kept seeing great skincare brands running ads that looked like product-page screenshots: good products, flat creative.

I'm a motion designer, and I build every ad myself with motion design tools and 3D (Blender). No account managers, no outsourcing, no handoffs. You message me directly, feedback doesn't get lost in translation, and the person who knows your brand is the one animating it.

I'm new, and I'm upfront about it: there are no client logos on this site yet, only my work. That's why the first ad is free. Judge me on what I make with your brand.

Signed, Akim

The small print, in large type.

Eight things brands ask before they send their first ad. Anything else, email me.

  1. You do. Once an ad is paid for (or delivered as your free sample), you get full rights to use, edit and run it on any platform, forever. I may show it in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.

  2. Free sample: about 5 business days. Pilot: about 2 weeks for 8–10 ads. Monthly: ads are delivered weekly in batches.

  3. One round per ad is included, plus small fixes like typos or timing tweaks at any time. If a concept misses the mark entirely, I'll redo it.

  4. Product images or renders (PNG with a transparent background is ideal), logo, brand fonts and colors, and the claims and offers you're allowed to make. A link to your site and a few current ads is enough to start a free sample.

  5. 9:16 vertical MP4 (1080×1920) by default, sized for Reels, Stories, TikTok and Meta placements. 4:5 and 1:1 cutdowns are available. Captions are burned in; source files are available on request.

  6. No. I only make the creative. You or your media buyer upload and test. I'm happy to name files and variants so they slot straight into your testing structure.

  7. I animate only the claims you approve. I'll flag anything that sounds like a drug claim and suggest cosmetic-safe wording. The FDA treats words like “treats acne,” “repairs,” “heals” or “regenerates cells” as signs a product is a drug, not a cosmetic (see the FDA guidance (opens in a new tab)).

Final legal and regulatory sign-off is yours. I'm not a lawyer.

  8. Yes. No card, no contract, no call required. If you don't like it, we part as friends. If you do, the pilot is the next step.
